USB to IDE

    cant get a usb to ide cable to work, xp pro dosn't recognize it, dings like something connected and then makes the sound like something has disconnected.

    There's a little jumper on the end of the ATA (or IDE) HardDrive that can be set for CS or M, please try one at a time, whilst disconnected

    bobdole776 please do not revive old threads, unless you are saying something of utmost importance, just saying you bought Ram from somewhere, is not really that important. So far 3 post of yours removed. You have not been officially warned as yet

    Note your new thread removed, seeming you already know about Ram, you posted 6 times or something ??
