User mode Process Space

Fundamentally, there are multiple process spaces. The two majors are
system processes
users processes
the user process space is isolateded from, other users and other processes owned
by the same user; ie: one program can not write into the process space of another.

system processes have much broader access rights, and depending upon the
specific OS, may even have the right to view/alter the memory of another process.
