Using a 1U server case heatsink to cool a video card

    How about using the sinks from SCRs or TRIACs ? You can find these from Industrial suppliers and Electronics Wholesalers. The ones I'm refering to are sold blank(meaning they don't have any mounting holes to attach them to the SCR. these work extremely well if you find the right size. The trick is to buy them for the width, because the length will be much longer than you need and you can cut it to fit more easily that way.
