Vectorworks-Cinema 4D - Plant Tool

As a landscape architecture office working on large parks and urban design projects we need a tool that allows us to quickly translate the hundreds-thousands of plants we use on a particular project into the rendering software. For us plants aren’t simply “assets”, they are the design itself. So obviously we don’t want to re-do the entire planting plan just to render it out.

I am impressed with how Cinema 4D integrates with Vectorworks but before committing to transition away from our current program (Lumion) I need to know if there is a way to map the 3D plants we make in Vectorworks to “3D Assets” in C4D?
