Virus Help!

  1. Please forgive me if I don't make sense but please can anyone help??

I have done a AVG scan today after my computer was runnin very slow and it have detected two viruses.

    They are:

    JS/Psyme
    and Dropper.Small

I have completed the scan and have tried to heal it which it says is possible but then it says that there is an error whilst trying to heal. I have moved them both into the virus vault.

Is this correct and how do I get rid of them?

I found their location in the temporary internet files. Would it be as simple as just deleting them from there?

I would be really grateful of help.

    Hello and welcome to Techspot.

I suggest you do the following as that may not be the only infection on your system.

Go and read the Viruses/Spyware/Malware, preliminary removal instructions. Follow all the instructions exactly.

Post fresh HJT, AVG Antispyware and Combofix logs as attachments into this thread, only after doing the above.

Also, let me know the results of the Panda Antirootkit scan.

    Regards Howard
