Vista pre-boot authentication

  1. domp Newcomer, in training

    Used to use Compusec as a pre-windows password measure

    Doesnt work with Vista which is a bit if a bummer.

    Realise Vista has its own password access but this is within Windows and I liked the extra security of a pre boot check

    Anyone know of vista compatible software?

    (Note I dont want to encrypt anything - just password access)

    If your BIOS supports hard drive passwords, then these cannot be cleared.
