visual styles

    I have theh TGT style xp trial version and was just wandering about something.
    Does it have to load at startup for a visual style to load or is it enough to just install the style once?

    Are there any freeware style programs or will I have to buy it to keep my visual style operating?

    I don't know much about StyleXP, as I haven't used it in a while but you don't need it to use Styles, just get the Style Patch from their site and follow the instructions for applying it (here is a hint, apply it in safe mode to keep from getting all the file protection errors)
