    Hi,

My Pc keeps getting voltage spikes, decreasing usually just after I turn my computer on. after its been on a while it doesnt happen anymore.

Firstly I thought that it was because my PSU was overheating as the fan within it was really full of crap and not ventilating properly (this would have explained the decrease through over heating).

anyhow ive cleaned my PSU fan and still im getting voltage spikes!
I really am not sure why.

The only other thing i did recently was re-apply my CPU with thermal paste, but i did a good job of it.

    I'm baffled?!

    Anyone?:)

What are you system specs? That could help and make sure you aren't using a cheap power supply. Sounds like it could be a bad power supply or it is about to die.
