voodoo3 problems

  1. I have a voodoo 3 card but I just purchased a few games and they won't work on my computer. It shows errors a (HW) error or a 3d acceleration error. I installed directx 9.something and it still doesn't work. I tryed the games on my brothers computer and they work but on mine they don't please help. Thanks

    voodoo 3 is at best a directX 6 compaitable device. and if you dont have DX9 drivers for it your going to have problems since it is a outdated card I doubt anyone is going to produce DX9 drivers for it. your best bet if you want to play the latest games is to upgrade to at least a G2 MX

    Voodoo3 almost[/b] completely supports DirectX 8 and fully supports DX7. DX9 is probalby a different story.

    Your only way out of this one is to upgrade your video card. It has been "dead" for quite some time now.. Not just because it is slow by today's standards, but games are no longer developed to support it.
