Wallpaper gone after reboot

I set a picture (JPG) in My Pictures folder to be my desktop wallpaper. But when I reboot or re-login, the picture is replaced by a plain blue background. I can set the picture again as the background, but it still goes away at reboot. I even copied the picture to C:\Windows\Web\wallpaper. It shows up in the list of available backgrounds, I can chose it and it stays untill I reboot. Running XP Pro SP2. It's not a major problem, just annoying. :knock:

Sounds like you may have a desktop hijacker.

Go and read this thread HERE and post a HJT log as an attachment into this thread.

Once set up like you like, right click your screen and then click Properties - under themes rename the 'my current theme' to your name or something you like then save to C"\Windows\resources\themes.
