Weekend Open Forum: What do you want for Christmas?

Should step your game up and get an x7200, I'm currently deployed in Afghanistan right now and I just got mine a couple weeks ago, helps make time go by fast. But you should wait untill something better is available as the SLI GTX 480Ms are just to expensive for their performance, maybe when the 470Ms are released they will be better for the price.
 
I'm moving this month, so Christmas is going to be fairly non-existent this year. What I would really like, is to win the Techspot contest. It doesn't matter what the prize is. :)
 
hmm the top 2 things that are on my christmas list are a 40" Sony Bravia LED TV and a sexy new Radeon 6970 (still awaiting release +____+)
 
Simple...a curved monitor! You hear that Santa! And it better be under the tree cuz I know where you live!
 
Let's see...
1. WP7 or Android phone (I have to see which one I like more by then)
2. New digital camera
3. Random stuff I can't think of for "the real world" (I'll be graduating in May)
4. Whole family under the same roof for Christmas... people are growin' up and it's harder and harder to get everyone together at the same time...
5. Anything related to AI
6. Joe Satriani's "Black Swans and Wormhole Wizards" album, with bonus content.

I can't think of anything else right now...
 
There are lots of things I want, but some more realistic things include:

New mouse

...and that's as far as I have thought so far.
 
I'd like the girl in that picture, plus the screen, and minus her clothes. Oh yeah and 6990 or w.e they're gonna call it would be nice too.
 
I don't celebrate Christmas, but if I could wish for something right now it's the success of my current work place. It's the best job I've had in some time (and I've always worked at interesting companies, so that's saying something).

On the tech level, I'm waiting for AMD Bobcat. That won't arrive in time for Christmas, as I understand it, but I can wish that it arrives soon and is everything I hope it would be. That is, that I'll be able to buy really small, light and inexpensive laptops that can actually have reasonable performance for both CPU and graphics (unlike Atom ones).
 
A faster computer and some bigger screens for work. I can upgrade my home PC all I want!
 
Julio, I think for Christmas you should offer a freelance spot on your writing team. Or an article entry for the site.

Yes, agreed! Idk how I forgot to mention that on my list. Unfortunately I think it's a tad bit too much to ask from blizzard, after all WoW is their real money maker. :(
 
Seeing as I just bought myself parts to build myself a new desktop rig (much thanks to reviews/shootouts for the help), only other thing I feel I'm missing at this point is a nice mediumish-sized HDTV for my room.
 
What I like for Christmas?
1.) A new PC that's really awesome!
2.) Xbox 360 and 10 free games!
3.) COURAGE to tell a girl I like her
4.)Money would be cool too.
5.) still thinking about it. :)

But I'd really like to get number 3 for Christmas. :)

As some would say. You already have number 3, you just need to switch it on (or have a beer or two. That works for me! lol) :)
