My aunt seems to have a problem keeping her wireless connection. This router is on the other end of the house. Are there any better routers or any hardware to increase the signal ?

How big is the house, Is the router next to any large metal or covered up by anything?

The house is a rancher. I would like to know if any of the range extenders work or is this router too old.

what model is your router and roughly how large is the distance between the router and the other computer and how many walls in between
