    Hi all,
got a friend of a friend that has an ancient pc with windows 98 on it who wants me to fit a cd burner. He's a die hard win 98 fan who refuses to upgrade and its been such a long time since i used an operating system that's soooooo old. He's gonna want nero or something similar, but i have no idea if the newest versions of cd burning software still support win 98. Its taken 3 months to get him to upgrade his 90watt power supply for example (personally i think its a waste of time with such and old and slow pc but each to their own i suppose).

So does anyone out there know what burning software version i should put on the pc? All help will be appreciated.

Was it that hard to go and see the Nero webpage about the system requirements?

All Nero versions support Win98. Since the PC is old, I'd suggest Nero 5.x or 6, 7 is way too bloated.

    Nero works well always.

Back in the day there was a program called EZ-CD Creator.
