Hi i am looking to sell a computer and i was wondering what most poeple these days are looking for and how much they will pay for it

first of all i have a:

a computer case: the kind that is see through

a amd 3200+ athlon cpu

then which harddrives would you most want to buy. Please tell me size speed and weather a eide drive or sata.

and how does a A7N8X deluxe asus moather board sound.

then 1 512mb ddr 3200 memory chip (333mhz speed)

so prety much its a top of a line pc and im figuring out which poeple want.

which operating system would you wnat. windows xp home or pro.
or maybe windows 2000

the somputer would come with corel word perfect 2002 and antivirus software.

video card: either a radeom 9800pro 256mb 8x
or geforce4 fx 5600 or 5900 256 mb 8x card

i think for the best above it would cost to buy maybe around $3,000?

It depends on your target audience. If it's joe sixpack then I'd say a cheaper processor like a 2600+ and XP Home and a basic 40-80 GB 7200 hard drive. I think the people that would go top of the line would want dual channel ram and SATA RAID to go with that motherboard. I'd still stay away from the 3200+. The problem is most people who'd want something that powerful would probably build it themselves for about $1500 for the box.

It's tough to sell at prices that are competitive with companies that build them by the tens, hundreds, or thousands. When I build computers for people, I spec the system (my minimum standards are usually above their wants or needs), have them buy the parts and I build it for a case of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale.

There's no money to be made in building systems.
