What exactly is HijackThis?

    hi out there i am kind of new to this stuff. so be gentle. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could explain what exactly HJT is and what it does. I have been hearing about this all over the place. thanks for your input. it is appreciated

    It just scans some specific places in your registry and provides a log of them. It has other uses as well for experienced users - such as removing ADS and deleting a service
