I have an ASUS P3B-F motherboard. I was wondering what the highest cpu speed supported on this mobo is. Also, the cpu i have now is a p3 450. If i upgrade it to a p3 600 would that speed my games and other apps up any??

I wonder why companies such as ASUS take the time to put up pages like this CPU Support List if no one uses them.:(

In short, if your board is a 1.04 revision & you've updated the BIOS to version 1008.001 you can run a 1GHZ P3 ( CuMine ) on it, provided you can find one.

    Otherwise you'll need a Slocket ( Socket-370 to Slot-1 converter ) & with it you can use a P3 750mhz ( CuMine ) or a Celeron 1.1GHZ ( Tualatin ).
