What was your favorite tech gadget as a kid?

My Dad's Rolex Oyster diving watch.
He wasn't amused when, as a curious boy, I took the guts out of it, just to, ya now...see how it worked?
I'm sure some of you are wondering why I might consider a watch to be tech-based?
Well, considering that almost three quarters of the population was still using those pesky wrist-sundials, that Rolex was hi-tech, believe me.

Somewhat more recent, but my Zune media player. They were and still are great devices for playing music. Longer battery life than most smartphones have by far.

I guess it would be Nokia 3230. Still remember when I was playing some Symbian games on it. The only thing that I do not like is the virus here which is worst than in Windows.:D

How about Family computer?

The market wasn't exactly brimming with "tech" stuff when I was a kid. I did have a go at building a crystal set radio. It kindled an interest in radio & electronics that I still have today. Today's kids think getting "hands on" with technology is plugging their latest toy into a charger.

My favorite when I was a kid,it had to be when my grandpa came home with the first color tv in the whole neighborhood
the whole family would gather every sunday to watch the only program in color,it was the wonderful world of walt disney in living color
it was quite the sight to behold in those days, and yes that makes me very old
