if you really want mods go to http://xoxide.com/ and on your left click on "i need one..." also just look around and find somthing you like. personally i like their cupholder for your 5.5in. drive bay...

Get a DVD burner? Other than that, there is not much one can upgrade inside the machine.. Get a bigger monitor? Another hard drive maybe? Some external gadgets like a USB hard drive?

I took the html page source from a newegg printout sheet that shows all items that you bought. Sorry for the formatting.

Maybe upgrade your video card to a 256mb and only get a dvd-burner if your going to use it (mine gaming comptuer has one and I dont even use it, I dont even watch dvds on comptuers) and I would save the rest of the money and buy Windows Vista when it comes out

What is the intended purpose of the PC? And I could not find any video card info other than 128MB. So what video card are you using? Into gaming at all? How about multimedia etc?

But it does look like a solid build.

I bought the video card seperately. Im on vacation right now so i cant give you the exact specs. I only remember it was a diamond stealth 128mb card, i bought it for ~$100

Im not a graphics kind of person, i played diablo 2 until about 3 months ago (it was replaced with wow). Diablo 2 doesnt exactly have the best graphics and i was fine with that. The computer is used for gaming almost exclusively. wold it be worth it to upgrade the video card even if im fine with my current grpahics?

windows vista- would that be something thyaht i should invest money into when it becomes available?

just a side question, if i just wanted to replace/upgrade the motherboard, is that possible? keeping everything else?

personally I wouldn't bother with vista for a few more years. I really don't see that much of an improvement over XP. Just a few graphics oohs and aahs- big deal.... not worth the expense and pain of upgrading the OS. Not to mention compatibility issues.

Im still not sure though, I think ive decided on a second monitor. Maybe 20.1". At the moment i think i have a 17 or 19" LCD. A 20.1" might be cool for gaming and keep the 17 or 19" for...i dunno guides or something from the web.

People like Tedster and AMDIsTheBest010 are the reason XP64 is pretty much a failure.
Many people already have the hardware to run 64 bit vista. By refusing to upgrade you are just going to extend the length of time that it is going to take for companies to make their products bug free.

If nobody runs the OS the companies don't have incentive to make their products perform like they should on it. If companies don't do their part people dont' want to buy. Its a terrible cycle that hurts the consumers more than the companies.

You are also delaying the inevitable, you will be running Vista eventually. I saw similar thing happen when XP came out, and I would guess well over 90% of those that thought they would never leave 2000 are now running XP.
