My Athlon XP 1600 runs at 102 F, is this good?

Phantasm66 Posts: 4,909 +8 May 24, 2002 #3 fitting a case fan (the right way round!) may lower your temp by 10C..... if possible, buy a cpu fan that rotates at 7000.... you may find that you have the budget heatsink and fan and that the better version has the same heatsink but a faster fan... it may sound mental..... and drive you :dead: CRAZY:dead: but it will keep that hot CPU cool.....
