What's the best connection?

I have dial up right now and it's basically the worse thing ever because I download alot of songs and videos but it's the only thing I can afford. I can spend about 60 bucks a month for a connection but I don't know what I should get. I want DSL but the guy at Best Buy said it would be 99 dollars a month which is way too much money. Any suggestions?

Where do you live? If you live in the rural areas, then DSL is very expensive...

The types, prices and quality of connections available to you depend directly on where you live.

Unless someone on these forums is from your neighbourhood there is no useful advice we can give. Ask from computer-savvy people living near you - they will probably know about different packages available, the quality and prices.
