    Well, some counters have more features. Some just count hits, but some give you extra info, like what browser was used, what time of day sees most traffic, and other useful/useless info like that.

    I need something that is javascript or activeX. I just need a page hit counter. I was wondering if it's possible to write a java applet that opens a text file and updates the count variable and saves the file.
