    1:well u should buy the network adaptor and ethernet cable(long enough to go from ps2 to router)also they do have a wireless connector out for 100$ u can find it at gamestop and other gaming places

    I think it is a must - isn't the adaptor 100 mbit, not dial-up? If this is the case, I doubt they put a lot of effort in making sure the game srun well on narrow-band if you rig it somehow.

    I have high speed internet from my work. Just wondering are there gaming networks out there that you can play ps2 or would I be better off playing with people I know

    high speed internet is not a must on the back of the network adaptor for ps2 there are to spots.... 1 for ethernet cord and one for dial up also some games require broudband but not all. it will say on the cover next to were it says if its online campatable
