Which path name & file name are passwords (for logging into websites) stored in IE7?

Are the PWs or the file viewable by any means, assuming the file isn't password protected, etc?

I had problems w/ one or two sites saying wrong pw - all others are fine.

Thanks.

Go to Internet Options, choose "Delete" under Browsing history, Delete all, Yes. Close all browser windows and try again.

This is assuming that you do not have any "user friendly" toolbars (read: crap spyware) that can remember passwords and fill forms.

Obviously, that method would delete hundreds of saved passwords when only a couple are giving problems. Holy geeze! Having to reenter all those PWs & user names cause 2 are a problem?

Gotta be another way.

BTW, IE does not press the "log in" button for you. It simply fills the password box. So you can just clear the password field and type in the new password.

Any automatic reply would only come from corrupt cookies, which you can delete one-by.one in cookie managament.

(Dude, no one here is going to tell you how to steal passwords from other people)
