Which one is better, especially for gaming?

I need it particularly for speed, and some rather high gaming (Like mmo's or Sims 3 or so?) and Im not good so.. Which one do yall think is better?

Core 2 is antiquated and slow. Onboard graphics is never considered gaming quality, especially on older Core 2 boards. And 4GB memory is the absolute minimum for gaming, 8GB or better is recommended.

There has been 4 generations of Intel i3/i5/i7 released since Core 2. I'm almost certain you could find a newer machine within your budget. Even if you did go with Core 2, you should only look at the quad cores. Because that is what you would have to look at to get performance equal to current i3's. I wouldn't want anything less for gaming.
