Why did my desktop icons & Start menu get squashed?

    It has happened before but in this particular case it happened after I had finished playing a game and exited out of it and there they were, squashed.

    Why is this?
    It has only just started happening and this is only the second time.

    When I restart the computer it rectifies itself.

    I saw this post in another forum. Have you updated your video drivers? The video card may be getting old
