-Streaming services are the new cable. The only difference is that now it's "decentralized". Instead of one big parasitic entity, you now have ticks all over your checkbook.
If you add the price f your basic internet service package and then start adding the price of streaming services, you get pretty close to the cost of cable.
Why do they keep raising the prices? They're basically playing a game of "chicken". They want to see how much money they can leech out of customers, before they say, "no mas", and unsubscribe
And customers well, I'm sure there;s a certain resignation displayed with thie justification, "oh well, it's only a buck or two".
