Wide screen monitors

I have a 4yo HP with the following on board video:

Intel(R) 82915G/GV/910GL Express Chipset Family [Display adapter] (2x)

My question: Will this support a wide screen monitor?

You'll need to find the maximum resolution that video adapter can support. Widescreen monitors have a different pixel aspect ratio than square monitors, which may not be supported by your adapter.
