Wierd Error After Resuming From Standby

By Dr Rosenrosen
Dec 3, 2004
  1. Hi there-
I hit standby on my computer, went to go turn it on again, and I got an error that said "Cannot resume temporary data. Click to proceed to boot menu".

I didn't do anything because I wanted to make sure I wouldn't delete my HD! What does this error mean? Is it harmful?

    Thanks
    Dr

I never use standby or hibernate. I've never had anything but trouble with them, except on a laptop. Leave it on all the time and run SETI or just wait for it to boot each time.
