After a full installation of winnt and all accompanying software, including a touch screen driver, A drive (3.5) gets corrupted somehow and will not access disk in drive. Keeps giving incorrect parameter error. No idea what causes it to happen. Once it starts, the only solution so far is to re-install winnt 4.0.

Drive is not accessible in dos, nor will it format the disk. The boot-up process does recognize the drive, only NT does not and gives parameter error.

Drive will initially work fine until after several other programs are installed. Any suggestions?

By "dos" you mean the Windows NT command prompt window, right? If the drive malfunctions even outside of Windows NT then you have hardware problems.

It sounds like a conflict with the NT driver for the 3.5" drive and the "several other" programs you are installing. Is the NT driver still just 5.1.2600.0? Maybe just try clicking on update driver. Then click on automatically search for software. I had to do this once with my DVD drive and it cleared up alot of weird things it would do.
