Hi people, I wonder if anyone can help me?

I have just upgraded my processor (socket 939) from an AMD Athlon 64 to an AMD Athlon 62 X2. I had been running WinPro x64 fine with no problems but now on the new dual core chip i cannot make it install. Every time it gets to the "Setup is starting Windows" and hangs.

I have tried:
- cleared CMOS
- making system just bare essentials (1 HD, 1 CD, MB, GPU, CPU + RAM)
- clean copies of install CD
- several different CD drives
- hitting F5 at start of install and forcing the choice of machine type (I get x64 uniprocessor, x64 multiprocessor and other), which crashes, hangs or just doesn’t work, respectively)
- installing WinPro x32 which installs just fine.

I am out of options, any help would be gratefully appreciated

My system is;
MB - DFI lanparty UT NF4 Ultra-D
CPU - AMD Athlon X64 X2 4400
RAM - 2GB Muskin
GPU -256MB - Radeon X1950 Series
HD -76GB - Western Digital
