    Hi,
    I m using Win2k and share my files over the network. But my printers and schedule appears over the network along with my shared folders. How do i remove the printers and schedule from appearing over the network?

    You can do it using a tweak app like Xteq X-Setup. Maybe TweakDB has it too, I don't know..

    In addition, you may also want to remove the searching of other computers' printers and scheduled tasks, removing them speeds up networking in Windows Explorer somewhat.

    That is easily done by yourself in regedit...
    Just navigate to:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\RemoteComputer\NameSpace\{D6277990-4C6A-11CF-8D87-00AA0060F5BF}

    And remove "Scheduled Tasks" from the reg_sv...

    Bah, forgot that...

    Though it's in they "key" {2227A280-3AEA-1069-A2DE-08002B30309D}, and not "{D6277990-4C6A-11CF-8D87-00AA0060F5BF}"...
