    Can anyone help?

Iam having problems with Win2k Pro shutting down.

Sometimes instead of shutting down properly windows restarts when i click shutdown and other times its ok.

I have been told that it is a power management problem but have no real experience with this.

    What should i do?

How far do you get when shutting down windows??

I remember there was a problem with Internet Explorer, that prevented Windows from closing down. You would get to the screen "windows is shutting down" or similar, then it would restart. You wouldn't get to the "you can now switch off windows" or whatever...

Sometimes i do have problems with Internet Explorer shutting down. After i have clicked shutdown it comes up with a message saying something about iexplore.exe and i have to press end now. Then it usually shutsdown properly.

Other times as soon as i click shutdown button from the menu the computer restarts!
