It's pure hype. Coined advertising jargon / horse poop, designed specifically to cultivate your imagination, glamorize the product, and make you think it's a good idea to jump on the "Creator's Update bandwagon".

But look at all the good it will do you.Likely more telemetry to make you feel secure M$ is looking out for you, with your / their best interests at heart.

More ways to spend your money at the Windows Store.

And best of all, more sh!t you don't need, most likely won't use, but you can brag to your friends ands acquaintances you have and they don't.

So, ain't that creators update grand? be the first kid on your block to download it. You'll be glad you did! (y)

Hi @captaincranky I think know you pretty well by now. Here's my thoughts tonight. Tell me if I'm wrong. I'm thinking you were at one time one of the best posters and helpers on a help forum some where. Not real sure what happened, but I think you burned out. I know you told me to mind my own business and I will after this post.(Maybe) I have burned out many times also, but I always return to help on a forum some where on the internet. I'll agree with you 100% MS has some really sorry people working for them. What can we do? Nothing! I loved W7 but I'm going to try my damnest to Make W10 work on this old Toshiba lappy. When The time comes when I can no longer handle MS.s BS,and W10, I have a external drive with W7 image on it. Also have a flash drive with w7 on it.
PS you don't scare me or intimidate old man. In fact you often make my day and I like you a lot. I'll be 80 in a few days and I have been around the block a couple of times myself. I think I know people pretty well. This is a great forum, and so far they are letting us both hang around. That's a good sign.
