I talked to Microsoft Help, on the phone, about why sfc & dism cmds no longer work on 8.1 Pro.
They gave me the run-around & said it was not their fault.
Even though they put out a Windows Update that broke them.
This is well documented.
Google it.
I had W10 Pro for a while & the cmds worked just fine.
Even the PowerShell cmds won't work in 8.1 Pro.

Repair-WindowsImage -Online -RestoreHealth

I think it is a conspiracy to get users to "upgrade" to Win10.
