Windows 8 and Planar PXL2430MW

    Had a PXL2430MW monitor working on Windows 7 for about 6 weeks, no problems
    Installed Windows 8 (upgraded win 7) the monitor worked fully for 5 days and now it will not work in touch mode.
    Planar is not going to support this monitor on windows 8. I just hope Microsoft has a fix before to long, else I will move it back to a windows 7 system. TechNet has nothing on this issue and I have not been able to figure it out either.

    This problem has been resolved. The monitor works just fine if you have a good USB cable connecting it to the PC and you should avoid going through a USB external hub.
