Windows Corrupt Need To ReImage

Ok so I am working on a Dell Optiplex 280. Brought to us today. XP Professional BTW

Cant boot Getting Errors SVCHOST.EXE-Application Error (Memory Could Not Be Written)

and

WinLogin.exe Entry Point Not Found

So i thought, Hey lets just Reimage this bad boy.

But the Image is stored on a seprate Partiton. I need to be able to acesses this partition. I need to Boot in Safe mode.

I was getting a few weird errors, i thought memory.

I ran Memtest. I had it running for 11 minutes, and already had109752 errors. Ouch

So i stole the RAM out of another machine. Booted Up In safe mode , no Error Message!

So i get to the Novell Login Screen, or the Normal Login Screen (if i choose without networking)

And it hangs. The Cursor blinks, but the mose and Keyboard both do not work. I have tried Various Keyboards/Mice. Notta.

Any Suggestions? Or do i have to call the real county techs.

if you can use disc in repair console or copy what you can and re-install
if there is an image use another machine and copy this
install from disc or net

Well just to post a solution.

I replaced the Bad RAM Stick, and the problems got better but no all the way.
For the heck of it, i tried memtest agian, found out that known good RAM kept getting a few errors here and there after each couple of passes. I just said Whatever got a mobo RMA from dell and its ok now.
