windows management instrumentation

Windows Management Instrumentation appears in two of my pcs under Services and Applications/Services. WMI does not appear in my laptop .... having trouble with the laptop recognizing a wireless card. I can remove the card and reinstall same and get online. How do I enable or download this app. Thanks.

Click Start, Run and type the following command:

rundll32 wbemupgd, UpgradeRepository
