Windows repair

Hi, im trying to repair windows on my new computer, i boot from the disk..it starts windows setup..but then get the message saying ntkrnlmp.exe could not be loaded. The error code is 7. Setup cannot be continued. press an key to exit.

Btw..im using the hard drive from my old computer

Help would be great

ok..i got past that by bypassing Advanced Configuration and PowerInterface ACPI detection...But now it is stuck at "setup is loading windows"...If i let it sit their for long enough, i get the "blue screen of death"...What can i do about this?

Check the disk for scratches. Let us know.

Ive tried 2 drives..and have cleaned the c.d...I just picked up a 250 gig HD and put that other one back into my old computer..and did a fresh install on this one and everything is working good.

HI im new here,
I sugest that you have to run your system in safe mode
by doing that you can scan your hard drive,

I hope that this will fix you're problem
