Windows Update Feature in 8.1?

How can we modify the Windows Update feature in 8.1 to allow us to choose when Windows is updated & when windows "forces" us to do a reboot ? I'd like to decide when my PC or Tablet reboots, NOT when when Windows decides to do so. - like in the XP Pro OS.

Go the control panel. Once the window opens. Click on the Windows Update Icon. Once it window opens. Up in the left corner. Click on settings. This should let you change your settings.
