Windows update wrecked my network

  1. I have a network setup on my 4 computers with Windows XP.

    2 of my computers had a windows update however now my network no longer works for the other 2!

    any ideas

    on a working system use run->cmd /k ipconfig /all and then
    on a failing system do the same

    the should be similar except for the ip-address.
    DHCP should be enabled.

    if there's major info missing, use the device manager to inspect the
    Network Devices; there should not be any red or yellow marks and
    if present, you have a driver problem.
