Windows XP continously turns off and on never loading to desktop

So about a month back I turned my computer on like any other day and it was loading normally and turned itself off right before the desktop loaded. Still a month later I have no idea whats wrong with it...it has never successfully turned on always turning off right before the computer fully loads...its driving me nuts...im almost completely clueless when it comes to computers but I want to resolve this matter...so anyone that could help...i would greatly appreciate it

Assuming that you can get on line, try googling the following:-

allintitle:"won't boot" +XP

and

boot +looping +XP.

I can't answer your question directly but know that this is a fairly common problem, so there should be something there to get you on track. Good luck.

try boot from xp cd.
