Hi folks

My computer is dying

the conditions is this

I'm manage to still boots my computer into windows

as soon as i type my password to enter into my windows

it's loaded

but nothing is there, the whole screen is just only background with no Icons, and the Bottom Bars, simply only my wallpaper

before this happens i was in taskmanager and stopping some program and i think i terminate a wrong one. and after i restart my computer it's left only my wallpaper.

i can get into safe-mode but there wasn't any icons and bottom bars as well.


somebody help me please

check if you have explorer.exe in the processes

You may well have serious trojans/worms/virii:

Bring up Task Manager (ctrl+alt+del) and click File, new task (run), and enter 'C:\windows\explorer' (no quotes).

This should run Windows explorer for you.

You can then go to c:\Windows\System32\Restore and try to run rstrui.exe to bring up the System Restore page and try to restore to a few days ago (before this problem).

If that is successful, then post a HijackThis Log and ask momok for help cleaning your comp.

Ok folks that

explorer.exe is the one that i closed before

but now the problem is...


sometime back something happen to my Taskmanager

the top bar of Taskmanager are all gone. (File,Close,Minimize,Enlarge) are all gone

i close my taskmanager by pressing Alt+F4

'0 write and reinstall!'.

K now i did what you said go in and restore back but still the icons no appear.

i'm now able to use my comp through "Run" in the taskmanager



any recommanded Anti Spyware Soft?


tell u guys the truth, before this i was searching for a crack and "Bang" i found unknowingly i press on one of the icon which comes in the Zip.
