Hello, I have a simple networking problem. On my network I one Windows & PC, one Windows XP PC and one Windows XP laptop. My Windows 7 PC and my Windows XP PC are all fully accessible to each other, no problem there. The PC's also have full access to my laptop's shared folders, this works fine too. However I cannot access the shared folders on my two PC's from my laptop. I even re-installed WinXP on it to see if that would help but no. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Can you please list the configs you used to share between the Windows 7 and XP PC, maybe you missed something with the laptop, such as netBIOS?
Sorry I don't know what you mean. I just ran the network setup wizard. When browsing my network on my laptop, I can see both onther computers (win7 and xp). I can connect to the win7 machine fine, but when I click the XP machine it says "<computer name> is not accessible. You might not have permision blah blah.". I don't know what netbios is. This used to work, but mysteriously stopped one day.
