WinXP pro boot problems

My comp's suddenly refusing to boot. it will (sometimes) manage to get to the Windoze loading screen and then restarts. more often it will restart randomly during startup... any Ideas?

we need to know more about your PC - how much RAM , hard drive size, motherboard model etc etc. This could be either bad memory, a dying hard drive or maybe motherboard failure. Have you checked inside the case to make sure the fans are al spinning, for example?

hmmmmmm.

It sounds like either a corrupt boot sector or overheating, id say albert hit the nail on the head when he mentioned the fans, also check that they arent clogged with dust and check that your heatsink/ CPU fan is properly attatched.
