ok i recently bought a dynex wireless g router 2.4 Ghz so i can hookup my ps3for online gaming
at first it started working fine but then whenever the phone rings i get disconnected. I also noticed that my phone is also at 2.4 Ghz is this somehow interfering with the connection? and why does my ps3 not detect the router after it disconnects?

you're getting interference from the phone line -- install the filters on EVERY wired phone.

actually now its starting to work... instead of having a NAT type 3 its in type 2 havent had a problem for the last 12+ hrs.
should i install the filters anyway?

Where broadband is provided over the phone line (aka ADSL), the filters are necessary, not optional.
