Hello All,
I have a Gigabyte K8NS Ultra 939 MoBo which is rated at their website for:
AGP 4x/8x (with a latch) — supports only 1.5V video cards. Right now I have a vgc that is 128mb and want to move up in the world. My question is this. If I get a new vgc that requires a power supply from the psu, will it still work on my motherboard. I know I will have to get a nEW psu seeing as my current one is low grade but I was wondering if my MoBo will even run a vgc that needs power from the psu. My current vgc draws power directly through the AGP slot.
Thanks eveyone
