I had just acquired a used 2002 Honda Accord EX in pristine condition. The evening of the day I brought it home, a drunk neighbor backed their hulking SUV into it. I was parked 50 feet from their driveway. They actually backed 50 feet down the road after exiting their driveway!

It ended up being about $3,000 of cosmetic damage, including a replacement of the rear bumper cover, left tail light, and trunk lid. Fortunately, their insurance covered all repairs.
