If I buy a RAM card, does it improve my computer speed? And how do i stop lagging from games when i m playing? Pls tell me....

in general more ram makes for smoother gameplay on games with large maps or lots of textures. I noticed a difference going from 1GB of ram to 2GB of ram in palying F.E.A.R.

games lag for several reasons:

1. Your CPU and/or graphics card cannot handle the resolution
2. not enough ram
3. a combination of the above.

no. Your computer's BIOS will automatically detect your RAM, if you have done it correctly. If you are unsure how to install RAM, I suggest you check out the FAQs section about installing it. It will save a lot of headaches.

I would buy:

Faster HDD 7200RPMs
AGP Video Card 8x with 128MB DDR or higher
Then RAM

Check your MoBO manual and see what you can add to the system. Don't forget to update your drivers and BIOS.

Onboard bus Video is slower than sloted video card. That can help you right there in gaming...
