xbox 360 vga cable audio question

    Hi ppl i bout an xbox 360 hd vga cable adapter today i got it all set up fine but i have no sound there is no slot on my monitor on my monitoe for the red and whit auio cables. so i was wondering how to get sound from my 360 then i wa sthinking out a converter so i can convert the red and white cables sound to my speakers i need help with this cheers

    Hello,
    Most monitors don't have speakers and the ones that do are usually crappy speakers anyway. An adapter that converts RCA (the red and white plugs) to 1/8" headphone plug/jack ought to do the trick, but if I were you I would hook them up to a better sound system.

    radio shack. You can also use the optical input located on the connector if you have that input on your sound system.
