    hi all,

    heres the thing,

I have a XP image that will be rolled out on to all the Desktops/laptops in my office. I am based in the UK but the image was created in the US and as a result all the language settings are in US.
I need to change it so that the default languauge settings for all users when they log on is UK english.
i tried going in to Control panel > regional and language options, changing the regional options to united kingdom, defult input language to UK and also ticked the apply this to defaut user option.
when a user logs on the language is in UK but the keyboard settings are still in US.
i have also copied my NTuser.dat and NTuserdat.log in to the default user folder but still no joy.

anyone got anyideas? its driving me crazy

You could try removing the US language option so that there is only UK
    english available.
Beware of side effects, though, such as QMS printer drivers only working in US english.

Control Panel > Regional Language etc > Languages > Details > Click on US and Remove. You can always put it back the same way.
